Thought I'd play around with this idea today and here's what I came up with.

Oh yeah...I thought it was pretty simple and hadn't planned to share the how to...but Gloria, our wonderful Group Leader at AllThingsTim saw this tag on FB and suggested I share. So here you go...
I ripped pieces of tape starting with the bottom width of the tree and alternated the snowflakes and postcard tape until it looked like a tree shape to me. I used my non-stitck sheet to lay them out....and then used peeled paint distress ink to color the tape and hit the outer edges with forest moss...let that dry while I covered my tag with a nice neutral paper (the back of one of the Halloween pages in the Seasonal paper stack). Cut out a tree truck using the exacto and the yeah that looks like a tree truck method. Glued on the tree trunk and tape pieces to form the tree. Stamped the flourish stamp from the Tim Holtz's Reindeer Flight set. Glued on buttons with glossy accents, stacked and added the gold and silver stars to make the tree topper put a tiny green bead in the center. Added Happy Holidays with the label maker. Edged the tag with Pine Needles Distress Ink. Added Lime Green Stickles to the tree and flourishes. Made dots here and there with Diamond stickles for falling snow. Added a backing of pretty holly paper and pretty fibers.
Suh-weet!! Love it, Angie!

Angie - I LOVE LOVE LOVE this and might totally "borrow" this idea!!!! It is SO SO SO SO SO cute!!!!! I love the tissue tape, and just HAD to buy it - but now that I have it, I have to admit that I struggle with coming up with ideas on just what to actually DO with it!! LOL! This is a wonderful idea!!! And I seriously need to get a dymo labeler!!! I see so many projects using them, and I adore the look - I must must must get one!
