Yesterday, Marie (Marie Antoinette) and I spent a little time playing in my ART room. I made three necklaces with the wonderful little Marie inchies from Paper Imagery Designs...I ordered mine in sticker paper.
The last one with the brown ribbon is already spoken for...but the other to will be headed to my ETSY Shop . Yes, I know shocking, I plan to work on my shop soon.

Today I finished the Chunky Book pages for the 4x4 CB Swap at Paper Imagery Designs.
so here they are.....(be sure to go past them...got some pictures to share HEE HEE)
So yesterday We take off to drop Brandi and Braydon at Mom's so they can all go see the latest Potter movie...on the way Sam says "LOOK an alligator" as we were passing the canal...sure enough there it was. So dropped them off and Sam, Brynna and I went and bought groceries. After we got home and grabbed a bit to eat then we three headed out to see if we could find the gator and get some pictures. and we did. SOOOO FUN It was not the least bit shy...when it decided to come up the bank...we went ahead and left LOL Just beautiful!!
and of course if you know me you know I LOVE cows :O) So was taking pictures of the cows around the canal while looking for the alligator.
Isn't this precious!!!!???? (and yes it was down drinking the the alligators water..YIKES)
and speaking of precious...here's our cute little gator hunting helper, She had a blast (but didn't understand why Dad wouldn't let her down to stand on the bank herself LOL)...
This morning Sam and I were out talking on the porch and kept hearing a weird noise. Look who we found in the flower bed. a gorgeous "little" hopper (actually about 2 1/2 inches long!!)
Yesterday was a FABULOUSLY FUN day!!
In the mail yesterday I recieved 3 knit/crochet books I ordered on ETSY...FUN!! Can't wait to make some of these things. Especially the cow bib....my new Niece/Nephew will need one for sure :O)
Then I answered an ad on Free Cycle...someone had free fabric ... how could I resist?? So Sam and I decided to go ahead and bring our recycle and stop by a few stores in Beaumont.....while picking up the fabric.
When we were leaving the UPS man came and plopped a box on the porch...so of course had to open it before heading out. It was from my AMAZING friend Penny . I've known Penny for years and years and know that she's an absolute Sweetheart. I can not put into words how touched I am with the Sizzix Machine and load of dies that Penny gave/sent to me....still in shock I think LOL I am so blessed .... THANKS again Penny!! Both Braydon and Brynna just had to play with it last night. :)
So then off we went to Beaumont...first stop...FABRIC!!!
I've dug threw it and found some wonderful treasures...so much here to play with and great ideas!!
This freecycle is FUN!! I sent a bag of ribbons to someone last week that needed them...just so fun to share something that I had more than I need of :O)
Then we went to JoAnn's because I had 2 coupons (they let me use both too!!) and knew of a few things I wanted to grab while there. Like the bottle of Crackle Accents. I also picked up these to magazines and a sizzix die. I've been looking for a silouhette circle punch for ages...so this one is perfect. I also grabbed a couple clear $1 stamps...I just LOVE these!!
Then ran to Hobby Lobby...I knew they had their jewelry findings 1/2 off. Unfortunatly none of the ring blanks that Brandi was wanting :O(
But did find a few findings (woo hoo jewelry making time!!)....
Went to get the blending stumps on my list....Then I stumbled on a few clearance items....
and on my way out.. a BUNCH of clearance yarn. I was good.....grabbed 2 sets of 4 that really sang to me and walked away (as fast as I could) to the check out.
Then our last stop was Michael's .... hadn't plan to go there but Braydon asked me to stop there and get some more scratch art boards for him. so I did...also got some craft kits for Brynna in the $1 section. Accidentally walked past the Tim Holtz items...and couldn't resist. Got more fragments, alcohol inks and distress pads. (oops found out when I got home I doubled bought one set..ooops so will go back and exchange for another set I don't have...and use the 40% off coupon I got on another set HEE HEE)
and then YIKES!!!!! and WOW...decided to look on the sizzix isle...you know I was curious LOL
HOLY MOLY They had a few small dies make down to 97 cents each a medium die marked down to 4.97 and WOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA the $149.00 alphabet sets marked down to $9.97 each!!!! I about fell over...of course I bought a few (I did group just picked my favorite sets and didn't buy them all)
So WOW....it was a FUN day. and no I have no idea where I'll put the sizzix, dies and fabric...but sure I'll manage to squeeze it in. and here is a recent improvement I made to my ART foom...I put my color pencils in these groovy amber glasses I found at goodwill. So much better then digging through drawers to find the color I'm looking for.
Ok yes, kind of an odd title....but when your man is on vacation instead of out delivering mail in the Texas heat...it's a Happy Monday :O)

I'm up and sharing my ART for the Weekly Challenge at Paper Imagery Designs. This weeks the theme is LACE.
and Here is a Towashi (spiral kitchen sponge) I crocheted and sent to a friend. I made is from rescued 100% cotton yarn...from the ugliest sweater I've ever seen LOL
Was a nice day here :)
Took photos of my sunflowers, finally blooming...
Made some ART... an ATC for the PID Stars and Stripes lottery...
and a 5x7 card for a red/white/blue greeting card swap....
I spent the rest of the day cleaning house...fixed supper....in the evening we went outside for a while....Braydon cut grass, we did a little weeding, etc.
Then last night before bed I crocheted this little cuff for the AAWA June Inspiration Mingle.....Susan shared a picture of a very colorful striped purse to inspire the theme....here's what I came up with that reminded me of the purse (it says glamour girl)....
So now today....the house is clean I'll just have to clean the kitchen, laundry and supper....Hope to make ART today too!!
...and getting a good bit done. Yesterday I spent the day packing ART and things to get sent. This morning I finished up a 4x4 swap (I'm way behind and these should have been sent in the middle of June YIKES)
now I must get to the post office, library, grocery store and hummmmm maybe Wal-mart...they have a 50% off clearance of the Fabric....tempting.
if you are waiting for a package from me....hang in there!! They are either in this pile are headed out soon :O)
I made this ATC for a swap in ArtHavens. I used a favorite image from my collection (and I do mean collection..this company is no longer in business...boo) and some 7 gypies papers...I LOVE their papers!! and a little clipped text I'd been saving.
and recycled a t-mobile envelope instead of tossing it in the recycle bucket. :O) With some ink, crayons, stamps, etc I made some cute 2x2 mini envelopes (THANKS again for the templates PENNY) and punched flowers. I'm trying to re-use those larger envelopes. I know it's just a small something....but I think the small efforts really add up if enough people try.
OK so that was my morning (besides catching up on email, etc.)...now I must go and get some work done. Like all the ART I need to package and send. :)
