Unreal what all has happened since my last post. Seems the days just spin by. On Oct. 25th our Baby Boy turned 13!!!! YIKES That means two teenagers and a toddler now. So NEVER A DULL MOMENT!!!
So Friday night we had a birthday get together her at the house for him.
Sam called in Braydon's birthday to the radio station and he won the birthday cake from Rao's Bakery...so he ended up with 2 cakes and a cookie cake.
We all had fun....ended up playing Wii and ordering Pizza.
They did some boxing and even Uncle Mike got in on the FUN! LOL It was so wonderful to see him having fun.
Aunt Bonnie was cracking up....Just FABULOUS seeing a smile on her face.
We were so glad that my Mom could hobble on over and join us. She fractured her foot just the day before. Some people will do anything for time off work ROFL
Nothing ARTsy going on at this point unless you count my sister new hair style. Love the new color...looks great on her.
The next day was Fall Fest on the Avenue. It was WONDERFUL FUN! Forgot my camera :( But we had FUN!! We met up with my Aunt, Uncle and Josh (my cousin's son) and came back here to rest and eat cake and coffee. Then when Sam got home we went back again and enjoyed some food (on a stick of course) and really enjoyed ourselves.
Sunday Sam and Braydon got up and went hunting (I had the joy of staying up with the toddler they woke up at 4:30 am!)....and came home with this....
No not a deer, not a hog, not a squirrel....but Guitar Hero III for the Wii. Braydon had conveniently brought his birthday money with him hunting. ROFL
Everyone is enjoying this silly game and really getting into it.
Then on Halloween we had a BLAST!! Got to go to my Mom's (usually she is working....but not with the fractured foot)
Brynna was a cow (she saw last years costume and just had to have it LOL---luckily it was big last year)
You'd think I was annoying her with the camera or something LOL
and you wonder why I don't get many pictures of Braydon????... I'll sure be glad when this long hair fad is over ~ you'd never believe the boy had short short spiked hair since he was 4.
Brandi dressed up (having a 2 year old sister ROCKS!!) She loves Anima ...so was a character along those lines. Black lip gloss didn't last though.
Our nephew Anthony was an evil , I mean sweet skeleton HEE HEE
We trick or treated for a good while and ended up with WAY TOO MUCH CANDY!!
Then we headed back to the house for more Wii. lol Told you everyone is enjoying the Guitar Hero game. Here's my Sister and Brother-in-law. Have yet to get a picture of Josh, Brandi or other's that have played it. Oh yeah and Mom took Brynna to buy a guitar too...because she needed one like her brother...need to get a picture of her with it too.
I, off course, have squeezed in a little ART here and there and finished up some projects...
For the Lost Art Creations Ornament swap...
A crocheted necklace using some of Linda's yummy handspun yarn!!!
I made these for the ART-e-Zine Fairy Embellishments swap I'm hosting for AEZ (let me know if you'd like the details!!)
Here are the pages I made a while back to send into a Love Book for our friend Beth when her father passed on.
My Mom wanted me to write on her photo albums...I don't like my writing so did these covers instead...
I finished up this scarf. I had purchased a trunk of yarn at an estate sale that contained these crocheted granny squares. I just hate finding things that never got to "be something"....So I crocheted them together and even put one on the back side of each end for pockets. But when I pre-washed it some parts felted GRRRRRR She must have used lots of different yarns for these colorful squares. Guess I'll be keeping it for myself.
I made these Christmas Ornaments using tiny Test Tubes, they are headed to Land Of Oz on the Avenue.
This morning I made these magnets, they are headed to my ETSY Shop later today...
and of course there is the ongoing pile of Works in Progress....
I'll try to start posting more often so the posts wont be so LONGGGGG. :o)
