I've been busy busy busy making gifts (all of which I can't show here...yet because I don't want them seen ... that'd ruin the surprises)
For my Mom's birthday I made this wreath with pictures of her 4 grandchildren ( our three and our little nephew, Anthony). She likes things simple...so I resisted on hitting it with THE GLITTER spray :)
For our neighbor Ms. Bland's Christmas gift I made this Jar Fairy. Used a vintage jar from the antique shop, vintage ledger paper, vintage lace, an image of a beautiful little dancer (from TOP HAT), faux butterfly wings made from painted feathers,of course glitter... and more....I put a tag on the side that says BELIEVE. This was SO HARD to get a picture of and wouldn't scan at all.
For my Grandmaw, I made this Book Thong with this cute image of a little cowboy image (also from TOP HAT). She loves to read Louis Lamour and I thought this would go well with her books. She also has a passion for and a collection of Blue Willow dishes ... so I couldn't resist these beads.
I've been making little ornaments to include in my Christmas cards to ART friends...but not getting as much done as I'd like lately. Affraid I won't be getting to everyone I'd like to.
That's all I've got for now HEE HEE ok ... that's all I'm going to share for now.
Time to get the kids to school and get the day rolling (they are so ready for the Christmas break!!). Today is Sam's birthday so lots to do today :)
Wow!! Lots of great new ART, Angie!!!!
