Wednesday Stamper --- Halloween Challenge....

I was upset to see that CSI was a repeat....but happy to get a little ART in.  This weeks challenge at Wednesday Stamper is HALLOWEEN.  So I pulled out  a few new stamps and my old spiderweb and candy corn stamps and made these tonight.

Today was another busy day, with little ART time!!  It was Sam's day off....more work on the house, bringing my car to the shop (thank goodness it's under warranty that includes a rental car---alternator and O2 sensor are being replaced), other running around.  Busy, busy, busy.

I did get this ATC made for the Top Hat Design Works Halloween ATC contest.

Speaking of little men.  Our son, Braydon turned 12 yesterday. 

We had a good time celebrating and I think he did too (see 2nd photo---the loot count---LOL)!!  and the cake was really good.

Just amazing how fast the time goes. 

This picture was taken of Brynna last night and she just looks so grown up.   She is talking, learning and potty training now.  She wore a big lacy yellow dress last night that she calls...."woo woo". 

Hopefully soon....I'll snatch some ART time.

The last piece is a 1 1/2 inch wide woven fiber cuff bracelet.  It was FUN to makeup and experiment with.  I hope to make some more.

Ahhhhh Sunny Day!!

Yesterday was yucky and stormy here.  YUCK!!

What a weekend we had -----UGH!!  Last week Braydon (our son) brought home a virus and was sweet enough to share with all of us, except Brandi.  I was the last to get it and the longest to keep it.  UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH  But we are all better now YIPPIE!!

Friday night was the big rivalry football night and Friday evening the girls were putting on their war paint.  LOL  Yes, Brandi did the painting and luckily it come off their shirts.

I made two more pieces for Bernie Berlin's Artists Unleashed auctions...

It was a long night ... (when they're quiet you know something is up) LOL

What I'm up to ART Wise

Weekend at the farm

We are back and catching up from a FUN weekend at "the farm".  Our BIL's family has a farm in Mexia (pronounced Ma-hay-ia), Texas.  The weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!  I've included a photo album of some of the pictures from this weekend...on the top right (you can click on the album and then each thumbnail to look at the photos in a larger size) or click here------>FARM PICTURES

We all had a blast feeding the cows, making smores, walking the trails, etc (of course the guys were hunting).

I'm back and catching up...

We had a nice Friday night!!

Brynna (our youngest) loves to scribble and color on anything she can get her hands on.  So this week while doing some supply shopping I bought her her first pack of big fat crayons.  So while the big kids do homework...she sits and colors, they are usually done before she is.  LOL  Last night she sat in her high chair and colored.  Brandi (our oldest) sat and drew at the desk and I worked on some ART at my work table.  The "boys" ...Sam my DH and Braydon our second oldest played at the other computers.

well, this is how far I got updating my blog before our internet and phone went out Saturday morning. Time Warner still hasn't made it out to help yet, but Sam hit the reset button this morning and it's working fine.

Sam is on vacation this week (hunting season is here!) and it's so nice to have some extra time....ahhh.

Well, now I'm off to play catch up on all the email, ETSY stuff, etc.
