The school year is fast approaching....Summer went way too fast!! I'm excited to know FALL is coming!! Crochet season....ok yes, it's always crochet season for me LOL Soccer season has started up for us, we've been doing some reworking/organizing to our home. Things are moving right along. Hope everyone enjoys the little snipplet of summer we have left :)
Here's some things I've done recently.....
My friend, Stacy asked me to use the footprints she made last October and make a piece for her Neices first birthday. Here's what I came up with :)
WOW life has sure taken over and just amazing how fast time goes by!! I'm in the process of reshaping our home and our life to reduce stress and increase the JOY. Saw this on pinterest the other day.....and thought YES!! That's sums up what I'm going for.
Each day I'm chipping away at this house that has absolutely gotten out of hand....it's time to reduce and simplify!! I've done things like our entryway, the Game/ART area, under the kitchen sink, deleted 200 unneccessary emails, reorganized all the stock for my ETSY shop and worked on my ETSY shop some, unsubscribed to several e-mailings (Because YES our electronics are cluttered too!!), ....making some life decisions and changes. It's all just become OVERWHELMING and there is no point in living a cluttered life!! I just want things as happy and simple as they can be.....our world is just spinning too fast!!! We must FOCUS and Make the change ... it's not going to just magically happen!! Anyway....I'm sure there are a few of you out there that understand what I'm saying here :)
So today I have worked on deleting a TON of spam posts off my blog....I had gotten discouraged having to delete them everyday and just let them pile up.... I updated my profile picture, some info, and fixed my Facebook link. Decided to keep this post simple and share a few of the things I've made lately. If I post more offend maybe it won't be so overwhelming!!
So mainly this summer I have CROCHETED....right now Crocheting is what makes me the happiest. I want to get back to my ART room...but have just been blocked. Maybe getting things under control and getting back to a school routine soon will help.
Here are a few things I've made recently....
OK....Going to stop here for now :O) Some of these things were for orders, some went to my ETSY SHOP, and some donations. I have only gotten one Journal of Love made recently...but look forward to getting back to those and I have filled my container with adult size hats to be donated to the Cancer Center of Southeast Texas (which I will get delivered soon!!!), also done several preemie hats too. BUT ..... anyways....baby steps~~~ This is a little share....just to get me back into updating my blog....I would have to upload 100s of pictures to be totally undated and well...that would be pretty overwhelming :) LOL
So anyway...for those of you who get a notice when I update my blog.... SURPRISE, I'm BACK!!!!
hmmmm while I'm here deleting a nasty little spam post....yipes I see that time has gotten away from me again and I need to share an update :) So here's most of what I've made since July 12th. I couldn't ask for much more out of life....spending time with my family and following my BLISS...filling my days with crochet for gifts, My ETSY Shop, donations/charities, and orders....squeezing in some Journals of Love, Cheer cards and even a Halo pinata for our nephews birthday :)
Crocheted this Market Bag with 100% Cotton Yarn....it will be headed to my ETSY Shop soon :)
Made this fleece pull toy for our dog Blair :)
This morning I decided I needed to finish instead of give up on my May Canvas Create. I made mine into a Journal of Love....the project was all painted and just wasn't feelin' it LOL So took this (first picture) and finished it by added a collection of flowers that I had made. :)
We had a very nice Sunday....Sam picked veggies, I did a little housework, we worked together getting a little more fleece ready for me to crochet. The rest of the day we RELAXED ... Which of course meant I crocheted :) Finished two more adult throws....
While I'm here...think I'll share a few more catch up pieces.....
My April Canvas Create.....(Still working on May...ok stalled on May lol)
WOWZA....been a while since I've updated my blog....Oopsie LOL I've been staying busy. Crocheting a lot and the usual Mommy and Wife job of course.....always going going going. Guess I'll just post some recent projects and then try to start keeping up again :) HEE HEE Hey a girl can try!!
Added several photos....but not all...back until June 3rd....realizing I've done way too much to post it all. I've of course continued with my Journals of Love and Canvas Create classes...well still working on May...so a little bogged down on those LOL Guess I'll just have to try harder to blog and stay caught up :)
Pictures belowed are from June....some items sold, some for orders, others as gifts and some went to (or are headed to) my ETSY Shop. www.angiehallhavland.typepad.com
5 new Journals of Love that will go to Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, TX for area Hospice patients. A good bit of the supplies used on these journals were donated to me by friends...and so Thankful for them. I have a dedicated large tote for donated supplies now...just tickled!!! Luckily my Journals that go to Hospice are picked up and brought directly. More supplies means....more Journals and more JOY spread!! The postage for other journals and cheer cards is really starting to add up....but spreading Joy with my ART is so important to me. I hope to list some new items in my ETSY shop soon. Everything I make goes back into supplies(like adhesives, etc) and postage for my ART and donations. Anyway....please excuse my shadow's on the pictures LOL ooopsie
and a 6th Journal of Love that is going to a young mother recently diagnosed with Leukmia.
