I'm getting so bad about just FACEBooking everything! I intend to get here and upload it...but time takes over and I don't.
So want to share a few things before I run off to the studio and ART with the little bit of morning I have left before waking up our daughter, who tends to keep be pretty busy.
My Aunt Bonnie came over Wednesday to learn to make some ARTsy things. I started a journal of Love to show her how to make them. It was a great day (until later that evening when everything went haywire...buts that unrelated and a whole other chapter LOL)!! Here's the journal ...
Yesterday our youngest daughter Brynna whose 6 wanted to learn to make journals. So for the first one...I helped her pick out supplies, trimmed her papers, etc...and guided her along....
Her second journal was for her and she wanted to do it for herself. So she applied her base paper and I trimmed it for her. She took off to her ART table and did all the rest on her own. When she was done....I told her it was upside down and I could help her fix it before it dried....she said "No it's not...I want my Journal to open from a different direction" Ok well then...stuck my foot in my mouth didn't I? LOL
I made this card for Operation Write HOme....
and this Sympathy card...needed something manly for someone who recently lost his father.
Here are a few recent things I've done and not gotten here to share (yes there are tons I haven't shared)
Barbie Desk re-do for our daughter...she found this recipe box at an estate sale...it's now in her doll hosue.
I made a faux desk top, the mini book and the pencils I made from Toothpicks...
ok that's it for now. Can't stand it anymore have to get to my ART Room...only have an hour and 15 mins until wake up the kiddo time.
