Made these today...

Found a little ART Time today and made two ATCs just for FUN!!  I've got several ART Pieces ready to put together...but they will have to wait.  Tomorrow is grocery day....YUCK!  Maybe I'll get it all done and be ARTing in the evening time.  LOL

HOW FUNNY----OPEN STUDIO WEEK at Inspire me Thursday

I was looking online for a little inspiration when I dropped by Inspire Me Thursday.  Well this struck me as funny since my last post, from this morning, was about my straightened studio (and the reason it has to stay clean when I'm not using it). Ahhhhh Clean studio!!

Sometimes the studio just gets YUCK!  So Yesterday and this morning I reworked it a little (all things off the table top and to higher ground away from little fingers).  Feels much better.  I took NEW pictures and put them in a photo album (in the right hand column)called  MY STUDIO (June 06).  You have to click on each picture to see it full size.

Things are constantly changing here.  Ms. Brynna learned to opened my footstool with all my latest ART magazines in it.  So I had to move them to higher ground.  LOL  Then I walked around the corner to see this....

So for now the footstool is in our bedroom.  Never a dull moment LOL

Well, my little helper is up from her nap..so off to fix some dinner and then make a mess in my TOO CLEAN Studio.  HEE HEE

Beaded necklace--TIMELESS BEAUTY--and Friends kindness

I made the "charm" (focal piece) for this piece a good time back and it has sit with other unfinished projects.  Today I decided to make it into a necklace.  The "charm" is made from a game piece (which my husband drilled a hole through for me)....It's painted with a metallic green paint, I made a collage on it and then sealed it with a layer of resin.  On the back is a stamped watch face...which makes this piece two-sided.

I'm  so happy to have this piece finished....I don't know why I do that sometimes.  I'm headed to My ETSY Shop next to list it.  :)

Speaking of ETSY....My dear friend, Linda Kuch's shop is WONDERFUL (she was a big encouragement in my decision to open a shop there).  She has some really FUN and BEAUTIFUL things in her shop.  Linda's ETSY Shop

Another thing I want to share that a friend of mine, Mz. Carla Naron, has done is put the word out there encouraging those who know and LOVE Bernie Berlin to nominate her as HERO of the year on Animal Planet.  You can read all about it here on Carla's Blog....I went and submitted Bernie for the HERO of the year award.  SURE HOPE SHE WINS!!!!

I've have sure met some VERY SPECIAL FRIENDS through my ART!! 

Opened a SHOP at ETSY

I've opened a shop at ETSY.  Hope it works out well.  It was fairly easy to set up...a nice experience.  I'm excited.....now just need to get some FRESH ART finished to fill up my shop.

HAPPY SATURDAY!!

Last night I made my Lottery entry for the ARTChix "Lone Tree" Lottery.  When we went to the Lake last time, we stopped the boat and let the kids play in the water...off to the side I saw a very interesting tree stump....I thought right then that it looked like the perfect meeting place for fairies so I took some pictures of it. 

and here is what it looks like when no one is around and the fairies can come out.   HEE HEE

Here are some more pictures from the lake...sure wish we were there this weekend.  Guess we'll just have to SWIM in the pool and ART instead :)

WOW Where'd the week go?

Seems I've gotten nothing done this week...seems it's just zoomed by.  I did make myself a ring (think it was Tuesday morning).  I'm enjoying it.  I used black wire and vintage cranberry colored round beads.  I think it's pretty neat and I might just make some more.

I'm excited that Maija Lepore has the A Place to Bark cards featured on her site.  Mine is the unlabeled card on page 6 "Treasure Every Moment".

Today was Sam days off and we had a nice easy kind of day. 

TONS to do...so I'd better get up and get busy.

A little ART on Sat.....just having a lazy Sunday

I did a little ART on Saturday.  With the big kids home for summer I'm getting a lot less computer time (you'd never guess we have 3 computers).

I made an ATC for the TOP Hat Summer lottery (which the winner was Paula Dion-----CONGRATS, Paula!!)

I made this ATC for the ARTChix BIRD lottery

I made this ATC just because I had a little more play time, the supplies were still out and I felt like it.  HEE HEE

I put it in  My eBay Store .

Well, I'm off to see what else I can get done on this lazy, rainy day!
