My ~~ Tim Tag Day 9

No, I did not forget about Tag #8.  Yesterday~~ I was busy and don't have the lamp post or anything like it.  Was planning to use a tall skinny tree and then sweet Allie offered to send stamped lamp posts to those needing them!!!  She is just WONDERFUL!!!  So as soon as my lamp post arrives, I'll finish #8.

Now #9.............WOW I ADORE this tag!!  It's WONDERFUL!!  and had a BLAST making mine!!

I just had to use one of my favorite photos...it's me in 1973 sitting on Paw-Paw's, I mean Santa's knee.  I was 10 months old.  This tag I'm sending to my Grandmaw with her Christmas card....I think she'll like it.  So trying to keep the bulk down a little I decided not to use the big clip at the top of the picture...so used a tiny paper clip.  I didn't have the silver 25 so used Grunge numbers painted with Russet Lumiere.  Don't have the tiny attacher either....so used regular staples.  Decided I wanted my flower on the left.  I AM IN LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!  With the faux eyelet technique!!!!  LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!!  And I used my own text...because "I've been really good" this year :O) 
 

My Tim Tags 6&7

Not sure where my Crafty MoJo was today..but I'm not as happy with these tags as I was the first 5.  But oh well..they are done...I had FUN and got to try some new things :O)

Tag#6

I didn't have the same car and tree...so used the card I do have :)  I made the fluff for my tree by rubbing two styrofoam balls together and using the "crumbs" it makes.

and here is my #7...

Didn't have blank mask so used the old post it note mask method.  and used white embossing on the flourishes which turned out to be a mistake...got a little muddy towards the end.

FRAGMENTS as Ornaments!!  HOW FUN!!

I didn't have a pine stamp so used Holly.  I do have a script stamp but decided I wanted music notes.  Didn't have a white rub on word...so used a sticker.  Do have wire...but wanted to use metallic thread...cause I LOVE it!!

Honestly the first thing that came to mind when I saw Tim's BRILLIANT idea of fragments as ornaments was EARRINGS...I have to make some ornament earrings.  So I did.  I used tiny images from Paper Imagery Designs.  These were FUN to make!!

 

My Tim Tag Day 4

WOOOOOAAAA Long day here.  LOL  We even saw SNOW here in Southeast Texas.  No accumulation in our area though :(  Didn't get my tag made this morning like I usually do.....My favorite mailman is on his long weekend off....so we spent the morning in our bedroom...CLEANING out our closets HEE HEE and spent some time going over the Christmas list to see whatelse needs to be bought.  Just lots going on today....so got a very late start on my tag today.

 
 
 I knew I didn't have a memory capsule and the book corner....so had to improvise again.  I cut my memory capsule from a package blister and cut my roof from a piece of craft metal and folded it over matboard.  I did make a stamp pad with cut-n-dry...but on a much smaller scale :)  and all day after seeing Tim's background all I could think about was this scrapbook paper that I had...I almost used it as my tag background.  and yes, I have tons of star shaped charms...but digging through a drawer I saw this vintage leaf/pearl dangle and it just sang to me.
